hows that possible?
Update: Checking my account, it appears AdBrite is running network ads on my site and I am getting paid for the ads, even though I have selected not to run network ads. This started on the 30th and continues today. I verified my settings and they are specifically set to disable network ads. Last, I sent AdBrite and email yesterday that remains unanswered. I sent a Webform complaint today. Their live chat has not been available during this time.

Same thing happened on my site lsblogs.com
I pulled the ads, and they still have not bothered replying to email about the issue
They replied to me, but only after 3-4 messages. They confirmed their was a bug and have fixed it. The publishers were paid for any clicks.

Randy
They should not just pay for any clicks, they published unauthorised ads, they should pay for the fact the ads were shown in the first place.
They still have not bothered replying to me yet, which is nothing new, as their support didnt bother replying about the previous question either.

Dear Randy, I am not an advertiser but a buyer. I bought an ad for one specific site with Adbrite on Feb 8th. I paid for only a monthly (4 weeks) one site $15 ad but 2 weeks later I was shocked (yesterday). They had already charged my credit card for $1200 and it was still rising !I stopped them and now I'm in the process of trying to get a refund..I thought it was useless but after seeing your post I am relieved to see that it isn't only me being done. You mentioned that Adbrite confirmed that they had a bug running that was selecting network ads without consent.

I would be really really really grateful to recieve a copy of that mail reply. Our credit card company has agreed to back us in our fight for a refund but we need evidence.

Your mention of a recognition from Adbrite itself that they have been doing this, is the only evidence I have so far. When I telephoned and mailed and text chatted with them, I got no recognition of any wrongdoing. (obviously)

Please reply to me at sunshineenglishacademyjp@yahoo.co.jp

Yours anxiously

Moses Musoke

Sorry, I don't make it a habbit of sending out private emails.

Randy

Fair enough, Randy.

It just seems that Adbrite is setting little traps around the web for us buyers, and the ad sellers are unwittingly becoming the bait.

It is an uncomfortable situation to be in for both sides. Is there anything you could advise me to do ?

Moses

Stop using AdBrite?

Randy

Randy

If having an opinion and expressing myself makes me a prick, then yes I am.

Randy

Hay why it is not possible if comptia a is possible then noting impossible and the AdBrite is best tactic. Opt for it.
