I've been playing with AdBrite for just over a month now and my conclusions are that you can't generate anywhere near the same revenues as AdSense or eMiniMalls. Adding to this, a constant stream of technical problems and it's really not worth your time and effort. The latest problem, I can't find my ads with their search. As such, I'm gonna pull back substantially on the number of AdBrite impressions I'm running. I'll leave it on a few page, but solely for testing purposes and I have a few recurring ads that pay little, but little times 365 days will pay for the gas to fuel the RV to Florida and back in March.
I don't know about AdBrite either, I think webmasters would just be better off to post an "add my link" link on their website and handle putting up the advertissement themselves, that way you get all the money you deserve and there's no messy bypassing through a third party.
Whether you go to AdSense or Overture or whatever service you choose, it would be wise to avoid using AdBrite, if you're already using them: Get out now, they are in for some rough times ahead. They've decided to let go of all their competent employees in favor of cheaper ones, yet they still are a profitless company with clear intent to up their head count and sell to some poor unfortunate schmuck who'll end up losing a fortune on the purchase. If you thought things were rough before, just wait until the end of the month.
It would be surprising if they are still functional at all by then. An upcoming lawsuit over some disgusting business tactics used by the management should be expected to have catastrophic effects on the company, even if they don't lose the case-
There will be a lot of skeletons revealed from AdBrite's closet. And make no mistake, even they themselves are well aware of the fact that as soon as the funding runs out, they will go under. They are just scrambling to make it look good enough to sell off before that happens.
I stopped using AdBrite a month ago when they started putting sex ads on my site without my permission. I couldn't disable the ads and they never responded to my support emails.
I waited for about 72hours for their adbrite ads to get activated on my site and its of no use! I dont know why does it takes them so long to activate ads! Vexed up and applied to google adsense.
