Become a Successful Internet Entrepreneur

Today it seems that anybody can start
their own business online. Yet doing so comes with varying degrees of success.
In order to become a successful entrepreneur online, you must have the drive and
patience to ensure that your business is successful. Neil Patel, founder of two
successful online businesses and a blog that helps people learn about online poker, found his success in his online business before
he even graduated high school. And now he holds the title of one of the top 100
bloggers according to Technorati, and the Wall Street Journal named him one of
the most influential people online.

Taking the steps listed below will help
you become successful like Neil Patel. Before you even consider starting up an
online company, consider whether you have all of these tools to get
started.

1. Find Your Specialty

You can't have a business without any
ideas! Figure out what you are good at and what you enjoy and turn it into a
profitable business! But first, check out the competition. Search for your
business idea online to see if there are other businesses like
it.

If you find a few, don't fret! Do your
research; take a look at them and see how they do business. Your idea or
business model could be completely different from what the others are doing,
which will help you stand out against the competition.

2. Network

Most knowledge can't be learned through a
textbook or guide online. Most of it will come from the people you know in the
industry! These are people with experience, who have varying methods of how they
became successful. Getting out and networking with these people will get your
name out there, and open the door for more opportunities as you plan to expand
and grow within your industry.

Locate a professional
organization within your
industry. Larger organizations have groups in most major metropolitan areas, so
there should be one fairly close to you.

3. Know the industry

You can't be successful if you don't know
the ins and outs of the industry. In the online world, there is so much
terminology and strategy to know that even the seasoned veterans of online
entrepreneurship don't know everything. Take some time out every day to do a
little bit of research, just to help you build your knowledge. The world of
marketing is especially important in the online world regardless of your
specific industry, so take a look at Search Engine
Optimization (SEO) and
pay-per-click (PPC) advertising.

Also integrate yourself into the online
world to get your name out there. Join a few social networks, such as Facebook,
Twitter and LinkedIn, and start your own personal blog. This will not only put
your name out there online, but will also provide you with a little more inside
experience with the different social networks.

4. Keep a Budget

Being your own boss online can be quite
confusing when it comes to budgeting your time and money. If you are a guest
writer for several blogs, you will find that it may be a bit difficult keeping
track of who paid you, and how much. You may also need to know how much time you
spend with each blog as compared to what you are getting paid.

The best thing you can do is keep a
budget log for every time you get paid. Mark down the time spent with each blog
and how much money you are getting from each. You may discover that the time you
spend with one blog is drawing much less pay than another blog.

Now that you have read this, have you
already accomplished these tasks? If you have said yes to all four of these,
it's time to take the next steps into starting your new business. Remember that
the most successful online entrepreneurs are those who stay focused and have a
strong drive to be successful. It is up to you to maintain those
qualities.

Why You Should Consider Medical Assistant Certification

If you enjoy helping people, and want to work in the medical field, there are a number of routes you can take to find success. However, if you want to work in a health care environment without needing to go through the type of schooling that doctors are required to go through, you can get a medical assistant certification. While states don't require you to be certified in order to work as a medical assistant, many health care employers want to see that you possess the characteristics of a certified assistant.

Benefits to Earning a Certification as a Medical Assistant

One of the biggest reasons to consider certification is your employability. Many reputable health care clinics, hospitals, doctor offices and other health care facilities will not consider you without a medical assistant certification. This is because the proper certification assures employers that you meet certain standards, and can perform certain procedures. The certification is an indication that you have reached a specific level of skill, and extensive training won't be required to bring you up to the health care standards expected by your employer.

Another reason to consider getting your certification as a medical assistant is that you will have improved earning potential. Payscale.com, a site that compiles data on average salaries, reports that certified medical assistants make more per hour than medical assistants without certification. Additionally, you are likely to see an increase in responsibilities and potential job growth when you are certified. As a CME, you could be entrusted with responsibilities not available to non-certified assistants.

Getting Certified

If you want to be certified as a medical assistant, you will need to meet certain standards. The medical assistant certification is bestowed by the American Association of Medical Assistants. You will need to pass an exam after completing a properly accredited program in medical assisting. When choosing a program, make sure you verify that it is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs or by the Accreditation Bureau of Health Education Schools. You also usually need to perform an externship. This will give you experience working in a health care setting. Your externship may or not be a paid experience. However, even if you are not paid, the experience you receive will be quite valuable and can help you learn in a hands-on way that can make you an asset to your employer.

Many people choose medical assistant certification because it is possible to get a good job that offers reasonable pay for a rewarding career. Additionally, it is possible to find accredited medical assisting programs that you can fit into your schedule. Some of these programs offer accelerated tracks, so you can finish your program, pass the exam, and start working in a relatively short period of time. Depending on the program you choose, it might be possible to be certified and begin working within two years or three years -- or less.

Medical assisting can be a very rewarding health care career, and you can gain an edge if you get a medical assistant certification.

For the past few months, Google mobile news has been broken on my Blackberry and I'm amazed that Google hasn't fixed it. If I do a search on my Blackberry, then click the News tab, I get zero results, no matter what I search for. If you have a Blackberry, try it and tell me your results.
